An island where sky, ground and sea meet, to form a unique set Situated in the Caribbean Sea, on the oriental south coast of the Dominican Republic, Saona is 22 km long, on 5 km wide.
Separated from the dry land by the narrow Passage of Catuano, Saona differs by its white sand beach, and its turquoise blue water, here palm trees offer a natural parasol to the brilliant sun, and the village of Mano Juan with his 500 villagers.
